Jack William Andrew – Actor
I’ve loved acting since I appeared in my first home movie, aged three. It took another 12 years and hundreds of hours of acting lessons to get my first professional gig, all 10 seconds of it. Totally worth it.
Like most aspiring actors, I would like to end up in Hollywood one day. Until then, my goal is to meet and work with as many film-industry people as possible, while I keep developing my acting and other movie-making skills such as editing, sound design, lighting, writing and directing. I recently completed a student internship at ARRI, which touched on all the above topics.
My ultimate aim is to work across a wide number of roles as an actor and, hopefully, even make a living out of it. I know some might consider that crazy ambitious, especially since my dream role is, and always has been, Spider-Man. Gotta aim high!
I live in Germany and I am fluent in English and, no surprise, German. Poorly spoken French and Italian are also on the menu and, if you’re ever looking for a hard-to-place middle-European English accent, I am definitely your guy.

GREAT MOMENTS

Call me crazy, but I came with up with a plan to connect with Matthias Schweighöfer at the premier of the new Milli Vanilli movie, “Girl You Know It’s True.” My idea was to give him my (fake) Oscar and ask him to give it back to me the day I reached his level of fame. It turned out to be a little harder than I imagined on the night, but I kept trying. After a few near misses, I finally managed to connect with him as he was leaving the building. Matthias did me the honour of taking me seriously and gave me a few motivational words of advice, which he wrote on the statue in indelible ink. He gave it back to me to keep me motivated. Matthias, if you’re reading this, thanks again and remember my promise: See you at the top!
It’s difficult to get acting roles. So i hired myself and acted in my own short-film, directed written and produced by me.
I got to assist Michael Stumpf and his “Fantstic Movies” team in shooting celebrity interviews for the premier of “WOW! Nachricht aus dem All” and the premier of the new Milli Vanilli movie, “Girl You Know It’s True” directed by Simon Verhoeven.
